Dr. Irfan Rana

Dr. Rana is an experienced doctor and has worked at numerous hospitals such as; St Joseph Mercy Medical Center in Hot Spring, Arkansas, Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas, as well as St Edward Mercy Medical Center in Dilley, Texas. Dr. Rana also has experience working in various Emergency Rooms such as Community General Hospital in Dilley, Texas, St Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Cozby Germany Hospital in Grand Saline, Texas.

Additionally, Dr. Irfan Rana has worked for his own Family Medicine Clinic in Grand Saline, Texas. Dr. Rana performed his family medicine residency training at the University of Arkansas and Medical Sciences in Pine Bluff Arkansas . Furthermore, Dr. Rana did his psychiatry volunteership in Champaign, Illinois. Dr. Rana also did his Medicine and Geriatric Volunteership in Champaign, Illinois.

Throughout Dr. Irfan Rana’s educational career he made various honors, awards, and accomplishments. At the Baqai Medical College, Karachi University in Karachi, Pakistan Dr. Irfan Rana earned Honors in Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics and Ophthalmology, Honors in Pathology and Microbiology, Honors in Pharmacology, and Honors and Distinction in Anatomy and Biochemistry. At the National College of Computer and Science in Lahore, Pakistan Dr. Rana earned his Diploma in Computer Programming and Diploma in Computer Studies.

Some distinguishing characteristics of Dr. Irfan Rana’s college career are that he placed third position in his pre-medical exam, was vice president of the Biology Society at Aitchison College in Lahore, Pakistan.

Dr. Rana placed second position in secondary school exam and also earned multiple honors and colors in academics. He also played Cricket, Hockey, and was a Football team member. Dr. Rana also was in the National Cadet Corps Training.

Dr. Rana has numerous Professional Societies Memberships which include American Medical Association, American Association of Family Practice, Texas Medical Association, and the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America.

Dr. Rana’s Medical Licensure, Examinations, and Certifications include the Texas Medical License, Arkansas Medical License, ATLS, ACLS, PALS, American Board of Family Medicine, Texas Medical Jurisprudence Exam, USMLE Step 3, Educational Commission For Foreign Medical Graduates: CSA, USMLE Step 2, USMLE Step 1.

For continuing medical education Dr. Rana takes part in the American Medical Association, American Association of Family Practice, Texas Medical Association, UpTodate, Cleveland Clinic CMS, Journals, and Medical Conferences.
